Opal Corporate Office HVAC Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to contribute expertise to ensure optimal functioning of heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and extend system lifespan.
  • Perform equipment repair and placement of equipment as needed to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC/R systems to identify issues and provide effective solutions to resolve system malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams on HVAC related tasks to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
Requirements:
  • EPA 608 universal license and valid driver's license required for safe and efficient operation.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience with a service team, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Previous experience working with HVAC/R and refrigeration & ice machine experience required for effective system operation.
  • Organized & detailed oriented with a mechanical aptitude for designing solutions and problem-solving complex issues.
  • Knowledge or property maintenance practices to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to maintain and service HVAC systems effectively, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
