ROLE OVERVIEW: The HVAC Lead Installer will be responsible for the installation of various HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units, mini-split systems, ductwork, and refrigeration equipment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Strong customer service skills are highly valued, and teamwork is essential. Applicants should possess their own tools, reliable transportation, and the capability to interpret blueprints and specifications. This role may require working outdoors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute all general HVAC installations for residential and light commercial projects.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers through professionalism and quality work.
  • Engage directly with homeowners to guarantee a top-tier service experience.
  • Provide education and support to customers regarding their new HVAC systems and address any inquiries.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement as an installer.
  • Utilize ductulators effectively.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of complex duct connections.
  • Oversee and guide junior installers to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform basic low-voltage connections on air handlers and air conditioning units.
  • Maintain daily communication with dispatch or management before leaving the job site.
  • Install curb and curb adapters as required.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and supervisors.
  • Complete and follow through on change orders as necessary.
  • Measure and install ductwork accurately.
  • Demonstrate the ability to braze line sets.
  • Manage inventory within the service vehicle.
  • Support and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Installers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • EPA certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of installation experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo a motor vehicle record and background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
