Position Overview:
INTEGRIS Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our esteemed Hospitalist team. This role is integral to providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a 7 am to 7 pm schedule, operating on a 7on/7off rotation, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner will:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Diagnose health issues and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and initiate necessary treatments based on clinical findings.
- Perform routine medical procedures, including injections and wound care.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and medications.
Collaboration:
This role involves close collaboration with the supervising physician and the Operations Manager in Practice Management to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
- A Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- A current Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
