Job Summary:

Stability Direct is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise daily operations in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with team members to promote excellent patient care and develop the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing and care staff in the provision of clinical/care support services.
  • Develop and maintain good collaborative working relationships and channels of communication with members of the nursing and care staff teams.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and correct staff performance relating to care/clinical practice.
  • Assist in coordinating case planning to ensure that all staff and required resources for cases are available.
  • Attend management and other meetings as required by the hospital.
  • Keep up to date with current developments in nursing practice and education.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical policies and patient care guidelines.
  • Promotes positive interpersonal relationships amongst staff.
  • Uses nursing standards and protocols for treatment in critical situations.
  • Documents patient information in the Electronic Health Record and Hemodynamic Monitoring system.
  • Works with Physicians and staff to organize, maintain, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment.
  • Assists with disposal of waste materials and dirty linen.
  • May assist in the development and revision of policies and procedures to ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Demonstration of ongoing clinical competency as defined by the facility.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and compliance with patient safety guidelines.
  • Complies with HIPAA policies and standards in regards to patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Current license with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Completion of Critical Care Course in Hemodynamics (or equivalent).
