Job Summary:
Stability Direct is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise daily operations in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with team members to promote excellent patient care and develop the nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing and care staff in the provision of clinical/care support services.
- Develop and maintain good collaborative working relationships and channels of communication with members of the nursing and care staff teams.
- Monitor, evaluate, and correct staff performance relating to care/clinical practice.
- Assist in coordinating case planning to ensure that all staff and required resources for cases are available.
- Attend management and other meetings as required by the hospital.
- Keep up to date with current developments in nursing practice and education.
- Ensure adherence to clinical policies and patient care guidelines.
- Promotes positive interpersonal relationships amongst staff.
- Uses nursing standards and protocols for treatment in critical situations.
- Documents patient information in the Electronic Health Record and Hemodynamic Monitoring system.
- Works with Physicians and staff to organize, maintain, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment.
- Assists with disposal of waste materials and dirty linen.
- May assist in the development and revision of policies and procedures to ensure continuous process improvement.
- Demonstration of ongoing clinical competency as defined by the facility.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and compliance with patient safety guidelines.
- Complies with HIPAA policies and standards in regards to patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Current license with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Completion of Critical Care Course in Hemodynamics (or equivalent).
