Job Description: Facilities Operations Manager

The Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day property activities, including contractors, consultants, and maintenance tasks. This role requires strong decision-making, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.

This position involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating facility projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial building systems, IWMS, and automated Building Management Systems (BMS).

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining critical building infrastructure, including UPS, battery backups, generators, HVAC systems, and fire suppression systems. You will also manage vendors, contractors, and professional consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.

A key aspect of this position is acting as a secondary point of contact for in-house customers and representatives regarding building projects. You will establish key delivery dates, oversee project completion, and provide a turnkey solution to end-users.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction or building management, and at least four years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, the right candidate may have a different combination of education and experience. A valid local State Driver's License with a driving record that meets Cox standards is also required.
