Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis, working evenings. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to our hospital's policies, procedures, and standards of care, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all patients and staff.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current AHA PALS or ENPC.
- CPI Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Proficient in interpreting EKG.
