Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Republic Services, a leading provider of environmental services. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, including hauling companies, transfer stations, recycling centers, and landfills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently perform general labor duties, including yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, and general office maintenance.
- Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pick-up trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, and other related equipment.
- Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
- Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
