Job Title: PMEL Support Services Technician

Yulista Support Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled PMEL Support Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our logistics management team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support services for the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the logistics of TMDE, including scheduling, shipping, and supply functions within the PMEL.
  • Coordinate with the Transportation Management Office (TMO) for shipment and pickup of TMDE.
  • Monitor and control the PMEL bench stock, including adding and deleting parts from stock as required.
  • Process equipment received from off-base calibration and maintenance.
  • Perform duties of the PMEL TODO, including researching parts and equipment requests and maintaining records of this training.
  • Use the PMEL Automated Management System (PAMS) to record parts requests and update the status of TMDE.
  • Monitor and control the PMEL Satellite Accumulation Points, including accepting hazardous material and maintaining records and logs for property.
  • Prepare monthly and TMDE calibration schedules and distribute to owning work center (OWC) for review and approval.
  • Inspect, perform user maintenance, and drive Company-owned vehicle.
  • Communicate with various depots and PMELs to plan, schedule, and coordinate the outside repair/calibration support of TMDE.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of verifiable positive PMEL or calibration technical experience required.
  • Must satisfy background check criteria and be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • Must be able to provide documentation of equipment and area discipline qualifications.
  • Must be able to provide documentation of a proven excellent quality record as a calibration technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
