Role Overview
The Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC will monitor nursing practices in line with established protocols and serve as a vital resource for staff, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
Unit Description
This is a 24-bed unit where nurses take pride in their contributions. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, catering to a diverse patient population, including those with trauma, stroke, cardiac issues, and critical care needs.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
- Work with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Support staff scheduling and operational needs.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- A valid Registered Nurse license.
- A diploma in nursing from an accredited institution.
