Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Lakeside Post Acute. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas
* Set up and strip down meal trays, and assist with serving meals
* Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas
* Operate the dishwasher and assist with dishwashing duties
* Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff
* Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments to ensure the smooth operation of the facility

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
* Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
* Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
* Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate

Work Environment:

* The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail
* The noise level is usually low to moderate
* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Schedule:

* Flexible schedule with the Dietary Director
* Hours: 6:30am to 2:30pm or 11am to 7pm

Salary Range:

* $20.00/hr DOE
