We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to join our Hematology Oncology team on a PRN basis. As a Pharmacy Technician III, you will assist pharmacists in filling and preparing medication orders, perform hazardous and non-hazardous IV compounding with high accuracy, and function as a purchasing agent for medications and supplies.

Responsibilities:

* Assist pharmacists in filling and preparing medication orders
* Perform hazardous and non-hazardous IV compounding with high accuracy
* Function as a purchasing agent for medications and supplies
* Responsible for acquisition, preparation, and disposal of high-risk hazardous materials
* Ensure compliance with EPA regulations pertaining to handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* National Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required
* Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration certificate for Pharmacy Technician required
* Minimum of three years experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred
* Previous sterile compounding experience preferred
* Must be knowledgeable of medications (dosage forms, brand and generic names)
