Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at The University of Chicago Medicine. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the nursing and medical staff in providing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention
  • Perform surgical scrub technologist duties, including preparing the operative field and scrubbing in for all services
  • Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to revise the plan of care to meet the changing needs of the patient
  • Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives related to Perioperative Services
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Operating Room experience
  • CST certification required
