Electroneurodiagnostic Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Specialist to join our team at ProHealth Care, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in neurodiagnostics.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and maintain competency in electroencephalograms, including portable inpatient EEGs and outpatient EEGs in the Neuroscience Center Clinic.
  • Prepare patients for exams and perform procedures, gathering comprehensive patient histories and explaining test procedures to patients and family members.
  • Recognize patient or environmental artifact, document, eliminate, or take proper measure to monitor the artifact.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair or report to supervisor immediately.
  • Ability to learn EPIC charting system.
  • Perform various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Registered Polysomnography Technologist or Registered Electrodiagnostic Technician within one year of hire.
  • Specialist expertise in neurodiagnostics preferred but not required.
