Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiter to join our team and be responsible for all aspects of recruitment processes for our organization. This individual will support and promote professional growth within the organization while effectively and efficiently attracting talent and filling positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings and first interviews with potentially qualified applicants
  • Collaborate with senior administration and hiring managers to identify personnel needs and workforce planning strategies
  • Advertise job openings through various channels, including electronic job boards, social media networks, and local papers
  • Maintain and send out Open Positions reports weekly agency-wide
  • Screen resumes and conduct first interviews, communicating agency background and promoting benefits during the screening process
  • Evaluate applicants based on their experience, credentials, and salary
  • Make recommendations and coordinate interviews with hiring managers as needed
  • Send 'No Thank You' notices to applicants not selected after an interview
  • Oversee and review all required background checks for job candidates
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or commensurate administrative, recruitment, or human resources experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Good computer and phone skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Energetic and positive demeanor
  • Ability to confidently confer with and make recommendations to senior managers regarding staffing needs
