We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Gardener to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and beauty of our commercial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain job sites as instructed by Foreman, including mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning.
- Operate various equipment, including mowers, power hedge shears, and backpack blowers, safely and efficiently.
- Develop a basic understanding of plant identification and apply hand pruning skills to maintain healthy and attractive landscapes.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high-quality results and meet customer expectations.
- Commercial or residential landscape experience preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license issued from the state of employment, preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service.
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasional exposure to loud noise levels.
