Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the recreation program, promoting health and wellness, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive recreation program that meets the needs of students, including evening programming and community outreach.
    • Collaborate with the Recreation team to ensure a diverse and inclusive program.
  • Supervision and Leadership
    • Supervise student recreation aides and provide guidance and support to ensure successful program implementation.
    • Lead by example and promote a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage the inventory of equipment and materials, and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
    • Coordinate with Center and local community resources to provide quality programs and services.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and community partners to ensure successful program implementation.
    • Document student participation and accountability, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds and assess lift loads to ensure safety.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications
    • Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
    • CDL preferred.
