About the Role:
Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents at The Bridges of Ankeny. As a member of our care team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while also providing emotional support and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding and toileting
- Report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Participate in ongoing education and training to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of 75-hour Nurse Aide course
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with resident transfers
