Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage nursing staff, including CMA's and GNA's, to ensure quality care and adherence to best practices
  • Monitor and assess residents' health needs, creating individual care plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Maintain accurate healthcare records and reports, utilizing technology effectively
  • Collaborate with the DON to optimize staffing coverage and minimize overtime/agency use
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and responsiveness among staff, patients, and families
Requirements:
  • Current state RN licensure
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health safety guidelines
  • Responsible, compassionate, and outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • Experience supervising GNAs and CMAs in a nursing home setting

Organized, interested in management positions, committed to maintaining high standards

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including 401k, health, life, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, flexible schedule, and overtime pay.
