Position- Physical Therapist

Full Time Role

Worksite: Sykesville, MD 21784

Shift Time: 40 Hours (36 hours Guaranteed)

Hourly Pay rate $39 Per Hour
• Patient Assessment:
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through detailed assessments, including mobility, strength, and range of motion.
• Treatment Planning:
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, goals, and needs.
• Implementing Therapy:
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Progress Monitoring:
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatments provided, and patient progress.
• Collaboration:
• Work with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Rehabilitation Support:
• Assist patients in regaining strength and function post-injury or surgery, focusing on rehabilitation goals.
• Equipment Management:
• Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices, such as crutches or braces, if needed.
• Community Education:
• Participate in community outreach programs and workshops to promote physical health and wellness.
