PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a senior sonographer or physician.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct cardiac ultrasound studies to diagnose and monitor heart conditions
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective imaging protocols
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ARDMS or CCI registration or eligibility
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatrics experience for Pediatric Echocardiography and non-academic settings
- TEE experience for non-academic settings
