Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographer to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound studies to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely results
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac sonography
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • ARDMS or CCI registration or registry eligibility
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 6 months of hire
