Job Title: Clinical ENT Specialist

The Christina M McAlpin MDA Prof Corp is seeking a highly skilled Clinical ENT Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will work closely with our Otolaryngologist to provide high-quality care for patients with various ENT-related conditions. This role involves both clinical and surgical responsibilities, ensuring comprehensive care from diagnosis to treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough medical histories and physical exams related to ENT issues
  • Diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat conditions under the supervision of the ENT physician
  • Assisting in minor surgical procedures in-office, such as ear tube insertions, biopsies, and nasal endoscopies
  • Providing pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up appointments
  • Interpreting diagnostic tests such as CT scans, MRIs, audiograms, and other relevant studies
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as appropriate within the scope of practice
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Managing acute and chronic ENT conditions such as sinusitis, hearing loss, and allergies
  • Providing patient education on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-surgical recovery
  • Coordinating care with audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (EMR)

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Otolaryngology (ENT) preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of ENT disorders, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Bilingual speaking preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the medical team
