**Job Opportunity:**

Goodwill Northern New England is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training.

**Job Summary:**

The Store Manager In Training, under the supervision of an assigned Store Manager and Regional Director of Store Operations, works within the specified program duration to develop and exhibit knowledge, understanding, and excellence in key store and donation center operations management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and exhibit knowledge, understanding, and excellence in key store and donation center operations management

• Work within the specified program duration to develop and exhibit knowledge, understanding, and excellence in key store and donation center operations management

• Integrate social, economic, and environmental triple bottom line objectives into thinking, planning, and action

• Develop and maintain a positive, friendly attitude in order to be a great teammate, role model, and effective leader

• Develop and maintain exceptional communication and organizational skills

• Develop and maintain financial, administrative, and computer literacy necessary to successfully complete the responsibilities of the role

**Requirements:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1 year successful supervisory experience at Goodwill; or 1+ year successful store manager/assistant store manager experience with full P&L responsibility in a small box or C-Store environment; or 1+ years of successful management experience in a big box environment

• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts

• Ability to work in, or transfer to other locations as needed

• Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record and insurance meeting agency standards

• Criminal background check that meets Agency standards

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• 4-year college or Bachelor's Degree

• Prior retail experience as supervisor or manager

• CPR and First Aid Certification

• Multi-lingual including ASL

• Prior multi-unit retail experience
