We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team in Gastonia, NC. This role offers a competitive salary and excellent work-life balance.

  • The schedule is 30 hours per week, Monday & Tuesday (9am-5pm), Wednesday & Thursday (9am-4pm), and Friday (8am-12pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate patient care needs and prioritize treatment to maintain patient flow.
  2. Conduct nursing assessments, provide treatment within scope of practice, and collaborate with Physicians or other Licensed Independent Practitioners as needed.
  3. Identify equipment that needs repair and bring it to the attention of the lead clinician.
  4. Perform occupational and health screening tests, conduct laboratory tests, and quality control procedures.
  5. Document all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow-up care arranged.
  6. Evaluate health education/promotion needs and provide necessary training and instruction.
  7. Administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner.
  8. Maintain medical records using Electronic Medical Record software.
  9. Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control procedures, and patient privacy and confidential patient information.
  10. Participate in follow-up phone calls and patient visits.

Requirements:

  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates' degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
  • Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least three years experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
