Medical Professional for Substance Use Treatment

Pyramid Healthcare Inc is seeking a qualified Medical Professional to join our team in Gastonia, NC.
Estimated Salary:$35-$39 per hour with shift differential
Job DescriptionThe primary function of this role is providing direct medical services to clients in adult substance-use treatment. The Registered Nurse plays an essential part in the delivery of care and support at Pyramid Healthcare.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments, complete initial nursing assessments, administer medication, and provide education to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice required.
- Current CPR/BLS, and First Aid certification required.
- Background or experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
A strong understanding of federal and state standards, as well as regulating body and compliance standards, is also necessary. Upholding staff code of ethics and boundaries is paramount.
We value professionals who demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities. A working knowledge of substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders is preferred.
