Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:

The individual in this role will be expected to engage in various work-related activities and fulfill all training requirements, including:
  • Zaxby's Front of House Development Plan
    • Hands-on training at various stations
  • Deliver friendly and enthusiastic service to all guests
    • Greet guests promptly upon entry and express gratitude as they exit
  • Stay informed about current promotions
    • Explain menu options, respond to inquiries, and suggest additional items
  • Actively represent the Zaxby's brand with enthusiasm
  • Accurately process orders and guest transactions
    • Input guest orders correctly into the point of sale system
  • Handle payments, operate cash registers, and maintain accurate receipts
    • Manage cash transactions, verify tills, and record totals appropriately
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
    • Maintain cleanliness in guest areas, including dining spaces, counters, restrooms, and the exterior of the building
    • Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs to management
    • Restock supplies such as paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages
    • Keep work areas organized and tidy
  • Correctly complete, package, and present guest orders
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed
Capability Requirements:
  • Oversee all personnel during each shift, including cashiers and kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory and control food costs
  • Ensure completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks and checklists
  • Recruit and schedule staff to deliver a quality guest experience while managing labor costs
  • Ensure daily cash drawers, safes, and credit card transactions are balanced
  • Operate the restaurant to meet or exceed budgeted performance goals
  • Maintain product quality standards
  • Foster a culture of excellence within the restaurant
  • Lead and mentor team members to enhance their performance
