We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality preventative and supportive intra-operative care to patients based on their individual needs.
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe surgical environment.
- Assist in setting up the Operating Room by ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available and in proper working condition.
- Implement and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure.
- Provide care, compassion, and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical technology, nursing practices, and industry regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS).
- ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required.
