Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Instructor - Staff Education. As a key member of our hospital's education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our nursing staff receives the highest quality education and training to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of in-service programs, orientation, and skills training for nurses and other staff members across all clinical areas.
  • Serve as a resource person to staff and management, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the hospital orientation team to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Assist with employee health nurse duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse licensure with a multistate compact status.
  • Minimum of three years of current clinical experience.
  • Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS required, PALS, and/or ACLS preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language Skills

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
