Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our esteemed team at St Lukes Nampa Medical Center. This role involves providing essential support in the Interventional Radiology department through a temporary travel assignment.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT (VI) - Certified Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
Job Details

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working a 13-week travel assignment in the Interventional Radiology department.
  • Completing shifts of 4 x 10 hours.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology is required; neuro experience is not necessary.
  • Prior travel experience is preferred.
Schedule Information
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility to fill in where needed
  • No on-call duties
  • No weekend or holiday obligations
  • Occasional floating to other locations may occur, though this is rare
Unit Specific Information
  • Department: Interventional Radiology
  • Number of suites/labs: 1
  • Average cases per day: 7-8
  • Common procedures include tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, and IVIS.
Job Responsibilities

The technologist will work collaboratively with:

  • 1 tech scrubbing in
  • 1 tech circulating
  • 1 tech in the control room
Technology and Equipment
  • EMR System: Epic
  • PACS: McKesson
  • Equipment: Philips FD 20
Team Structure

During working hours, the department is supported by:

  • 1 Interventional Radiologist
  • 1-2 Physician Assistants
  • A Charge Nurse is present on each shift
Orientation

New hires will undergo a department-specific orientation lasting between 3 days to 1 week.
