Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Southern Idaho is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a temporary assignment in their Radiology department. The role involves working four 10-hour shifts per week.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, with neuro experience not required. Previous travel experience is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Flexibility to assist in various areas as needed
No on-call duties
No weekend or holiday shifts
Occasional floating to other locations may occur, though this is rare.
Department Details:
Interventional Radiology Technologist
Number of suites/labs: 1
Average cases per day: 7-8
Common patient diagnoses include general body procedures such as tube placements, line placements, stenting, drainage, Y-90s, and IVIS.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration with a team of 1 scrubbed tech, 1 circulating tech, and 1 tech in the control room.
Technology and Equipment:
EMR System: Epic
PACS: McKesson
Equipment: Philips FD 201 Interventional Radiology System
Support staff includes 1-2 Physician Assistants on-site during working hours, along with a manager/Charge Nurse available on each shift.
Orientation:
Unit-specific orientation typically lasts between 3 days to 1 week.

Work alongside a team of skilled Interventional Radiologists and nursing staff, known for their collaborative spirit. Enjoy a structured 10-hour shift schedule with no on-call obligations.
