About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mask Preparation Engineer to join our team at onsemi. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and production of our cutting-edge semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support tape-out work for internal FABs and external foundries, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform DRC & LVS verification on chip design layouts as needed, utilizing your expertise to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Develop and implement floor-planning strategies for production and development test patterns, driving efficiency and quality.
  • Design and write automation scripts for basic layout and data prep functions, streamlining processes and reducing manual errors.
  • Collaborate with the Integration team to develop new mask layer definitions, metrology, and lithography structures, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Prepare reticle and mask data, working closely with the PDK team to ensure data integrity and GR cleanness.
  • Coordinate QA on reticle data review and release, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Interface with Design, Fab, Tech Development, and mask vendors to facilitate the flow from NPD to manufacturing, driving efficiency and collaboration.
