**Job Overview:** Community Activities Assistant
Tieszen Memorial Home, Inc. is a reputable provider of senior living services in Marion, SD. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Community Activities Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting the activity department staff in carrying out daily activities and programs designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily activity programming, including group and individual activities, under the supervision of the activity department staff
- Participate in the planning and implementation of themed events and celebrations
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and engagement
- Support with CNA training course completion
Requirements:
- CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $44,500-$54,000, depending on experience. A retention bonus of up to $1,000 may be available to eligible employees. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
