About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their optimal level of physical function.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients to achieve their optimal level of physical function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of New York.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient data and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
