About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Capital Procurement Lead to join our team at fairlife, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic sourcing and procurement operations for capital equipment portfolio.

Job Summary

The Sr. Procurement Manager, Capital will be accountable for managing and overseeing the development and execution of sourcing strategies that align with fairlife's strategic objectives. The role delivers value to the business by ensuring strategic sourcing of high-quality, cost-effective equipment and materials from a reliable supply base.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sourcing Strategy Development: Define and lead procurement strategy development for capital equipment and R&M categories, ensuring alignment with fairlife's strategic objectives.
  • Total Cost Optimization: Identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies to reduce total delivered cost, ensure best-in-class vendor partnerships, and bolster security of supply.
  • Supply Base Management: Develop a competitive supply base, effectively leverage spend, drive innovation, and strong vendor performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineering teams on facility design, supplier performance management, and cross-functional scorecard evaluation processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Procurement) and +7 years' experience performing capital equipment sourcing or process/packaging engineering supporting low acid or CPG equivalent systems.

You should possess sound category technical knowledge of manufacturing systems equipment design and ongoing spare parts and servicing requirements. A demonstrated track-record of executing year-over-year cost savings initiatives and ability to develop a cost savings project pipeline is essential.

Able to thrive in a dynamic environment, eager to partner, create value-based relationships with team members up, down, and across the organization. 35% travel required.

Salary Range

This position offers an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
