About the Job

As a Junior Data Analyst at Sparks Wiz Limited, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with senior analysts, consultants, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

    • Gather and preprocess data from various sources, including internal databases, client data, and external research.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data validation and cleaning processes.
    • Assist in maintaining and updating data management systems and databases.
    • Perform basic statistical analysis and data mining to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and findings.
    • Support the development of data models and algorithms for more advanced analytics.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal teams and clients.
    • Prepare clear and concise presentations of analytical findings and recommendations.
    • Assist in communicating complex data insights in a straightforward and understandable manner.
    • Work closely with senior analysts, consultants, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
    • Participate in meetings and discussions to contribute insights and support data-related decision-making.
    • Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends.
    • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis processes, and reporting methodologies.
    • Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a data analysis role or a related internship. Experience in an engineering or consulting environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $54,080 - $76,240, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and paid time off.
