As a Medical Billing Specialist at Alaska Heart Institute, you will play a vital role in the revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate and timely payment for our patients' medical services.

The estimated salary for this position is $27-37 per hour, depending on experience and education.

You will be responsible for filing and tracking insurance claims, researching and resolving disputes, and submitting appeals to ensure prompt payment. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help you work effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare professionals.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in medical billing, preferably with an emphasis on insurance research and claim follow-up. A Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC is highly preferred.
