Role Overview:
The Quality Improvement Coordinator is tasked with serving as a liaison among the Quality/Safety leadership team, Surgical leadership, Administration, clinical and surgical personnel, and surgical patients.
This role encompasses oversight of all quality and safety initiatives related to surgical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing data for program registries.
Key registries and programs include, but are not limited to, the Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) certification/re-certification, Optimized Surgical Recovery (OSR), OASCAHPS (Surgical Patient Experience), and The Joint Commission (TJC) Accreditation, while also providing safety programs that align with AORN, ANSI/AAMI, and ASPAN standards.
Qualifications:
RN - Associate's degree required / BSN or higher preferred
Arizona Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with a focus on data review and extraction.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in clinical quality or safety
Laser/Safety Officer certification
