We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN Clinic to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assess and implement patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Prepare patients for examination and provide direct patient care as directed.
- Document patient care in the health record according to department standards.
- Obtain and convey information to and from patients, pharmacies, and other providers as directed.
- May obtain referral authorizations for treatment as directed by a licensed provider.
- Ensure own professional effectiveness through continued education and professional development.
- Accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
- Basic Life Support required upon hire.
- Basic computer skills required, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Cooperative working and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of patients, families, and staff.
- Effective prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple clinical tasks at one time.
