Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dining areas by setting tables, arranging decorations, and replenishing condiments and linens.
  • Respond to guest needs by inquiring about their requirements and observing the dining process.
  • Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Provide welcoming phone greetings and follow guest ordering procedures.
  • Convey menu information to guests over the phone and provide accurate delivery time estimates.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a supervisor.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
Requirements
  • Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to bussers, managers, and other staff members.
  • Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to answer the phone and respond to guest requests.
  • Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests.
  • Must be able to understand requests for assistance.
  • Must be able to carry trays or supplies.
  • A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team.
  • Possession of great guest relations skills.
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • No previous server experience is required.
