Under the direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinates and provides patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- Provides nursing care in accordance with applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certified within 90 days of hire.
- One year oncology and chemotherapy experience required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse - Missouri Licensure (or compact).
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
