Job Summary

The Clinical Resource Director plays a vital role in establishing and leading the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. This position is responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organization's clinical expense agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements facility or division-based strategies and processes to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission.
  • Identifies and implements supply expense margin improvement with a primary focus on high cost of good departments, including surgical services, cath lab, ep lab, and special procedures.
  • Participates in monthly operating reports and supply expense planning to mitigate an increase in supply expense.
  • Facilitates value analysis meetings to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefit, discuss financial considerations, and identify opportunities to standardize products and reduce waste.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related Allied Health Profession.
  • Three to five years of experience in value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance.
  • LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), or Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP) credential is preferred.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be $74,859 - $127,275 per year, depending on experience. Factors such as specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the same role may also influence actual salary.
