Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Saint Cloud Hospital. As a COTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care setting.
  • Current MN license and BLS certification.
  • Ability to work 5x8 days with every 4th weekend.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Work Environment

Our hospital is a 400-bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of medical services, including general acute care, medical-surgical units, and critical care. As a COTA, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
