Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol purchases.
  • Present the menu, respond to inquiries, and take food and beverage orders from guests or serving staff.
  • Prepare a variety of drink orders, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
  • Assemble appetizers and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Monitor seating arrangements in the bar area to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
  • Calculate bills and process payments, maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Proactively manage customer consumption to mitigate risks associated with excessive drinking.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, work areas, and dining tables, including washing glasses and utensils.
  • Ensure the kitchen and bar area are organized and stocked at the end of each shift.
  • Oversee the operations of the bar area, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Prepare garnishes by slicing and pitting fruits for drinks.
  • Design attractive displays of bottles and glasses.
  • Develop new drink recipes to enhance the menu.
  • Conduct weekly inventory of liquor, food, supplies, and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Maintain daily logs for temperature and waste management.
  • Inspect foodstuffs and supplies upon receipt to confirm quality and quantity meet standards.
  • Ensure proper reporting of tips for tax purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
