Position Overview: Commercial Fleet Solutions Consultant

  • This role is primarily field-based, focusing on driving traffic for parts and service to our dealership and distribution networks for repairs and parts acquisitions.
  • The Commercial Fleet Solutions Consultant will engage with current Ford Pro clients and seek out new commercial fleet opportunities for parts and service solutions.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of meeting sales targets consistently and will thrive in a performance-driven environment.
  • We seek individuals who are competitive and possess a strong desire to meet sales goals while showing understanding and support for customers facing challenges with their Ford vehicles.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a customer-facing, commission-based role with the following responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for Ford Pro products and services.
  • Expand existing fleet accounts and acquire new fleet business for parts and service.
  • Drive growth in wholesale parts sales.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through repair orders and service offerings.
  • Facilitate program enrollments and track customer progress towards objectives.
  • Identify bidding opportunities and assist in preparing bid responses.
  • Collaborate with dealership outside sales representatives.
  • Collect VIN lists from fleet customers.
  • Respond to leads generated by marketing initiatives.
  • Identify software and additional Ford Pro service opportunities.

Essential Skills:

  • Sales Acumen: Proven sales expertise with an entrepreneurial approach to effectively market products and services to prospective clients, creating mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Product and Service Expertise: Ability to clearly communicate the advantages of all fleet solutions to potential clients.
  • Industry Insight: A solid understanding of the fleet management sector is crucial for effectively positioning products and services in the marketplace, including awareness of industry trends and competitors.
  • Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong client relationships is vital for success in fleet management sales, requiring the ability to connect with clients, comprehend their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities to assess sales data, monitor performance, and make informed decisions to drive sales growth.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive reputation in the market.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commission-based sales, including routine outreach to potential clients to cultivate business.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the fleet or commercial automotive sector is preferred.
  • Experience with solutions-oriented selling is advantageous.
