Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at the Raleigh Housing Authority. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in their community and has a strong background in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters, including account reconciliation and expense management.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit or public sector organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and staff.
We offer a competitive salary range of $44,468-$55,760 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
