As a Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of Clinical Pharmacy Services, ensuring the delivery of optimal clinical services on a daily basis.
Your role will involve facilitating the development and continuous management of systems that promote favorable patient outcomes through the implementation of safe and cost-effective medication therapies.
In this position, you will ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve productivity and financial objectives. You will inspire a shared vision among your team, demonstrating the importance of change and presenting it with enthusiasm.
Accountability is key; you will hold both direct and indirect care providers responsible for their professional duties and adherence to regulatory standards. Your work will be conducted in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in various pharmacy settings, including hospital, retail, specialty, and/or ambulatory practice is essential.
Required Education:
An advanced pharmacy degree with a focus on clinical practice is required. Management training, alongside clinical training, is advantageous.
Certifications:
Possession of an applicable State Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate, PGY-1, or Board Certification, or a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is required.
Other:
This role necessitates an individual with both clinical and managerial capabilities and a keen interest in career development.
A thorough understanding of contemporary hospital pharmacy practices is crucial, as well as comprehensive clinical competency across all age demographics served.
