Steward - Wisconsin Center District

As a Steward with Levy Sector, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our guests receive the highest level of service and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, depending on assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces, removing trash and placing it in designated containers, and steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helping to load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
