About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Principal Lecturer to join our team in the College of Education at the University of North Texas. As a Principal Lecturer, you will play a key role in teaching and mentoring graduate students in our Educational Leadership program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses in Educational Leadership, with a focus on current theory and research
  • Advise master's and doctoral students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey
  • Supervise students in practicum courses and work on various aspects of the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) and Principals Assessment for School Leaders (PASL)

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree related to school leadership
  • Leadership experience working with principals and central office administrators in school districts
  • Teaching certification (in any state) and mid-management administration certification (in any state) are required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching educational leadership courses at the master's and doctoral degree level
  • Experience with the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) and Principals Assessment for School Leaders (PASL)
  • Extensive experience working with district administration
