Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Reviewer to join our Quality Management team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we deliver high-quality, efficient care to our patients. Your expertise in quality improvement and clinical knowledge will enable you to facilitate the growth of hospital knowledge regarding quality and high reliability.

You will participate in Performance Improvement committees, coordinate activities, prepare meeting materials, write minutes, and follow up on action items. Additionally, you will utilize problem-solving methodology, serious event analysis (SEA)/root cause analysis (RCA), and/or Failure, Mode, Effects & Critically Analysis (FMECA) as needed.

As a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist, you will also analyze facility quality and risk performance data, plan steps based on data analysis, and support clinical process improvement teams to achieve quality and performance improvement goals. You will execute special projects and other duties assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Three years' recent clinical experience in an Acute Care Stroke/Neuroscience Unit.
  • BLS, ACLS required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office.
