Job Title: Chief Investment Officer, Client Solutions

Omnicom Media Group, a leading media services division, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead investment strategies for a major client. As Chief Investment Officer, Client Solutions, you will play a critical role in driving excellence in media activation across all channels, delivering on client business objectives while driving innovation from an investment standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and contribute to upfront strategies with client leadership and stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to elevate investments and delivery of best-in-class media activation.
  • Develop and expand relationships with internal and cross-agency partners, as well as key strategic partners, to support strategic partnerships and investment strategies.
  • Operate as an activation subject matter expert, ensuring teams and processes are operating at a high standard, employing best practices, and maintaining expertise and adherence to investment operations.
  • Work closely with Strategy, Planning, and Marketing Science to ideate on innovation and capability development with media.
  • Continually monitor the landscape for new partners and technologies that can be acquired or deployed to up-level media capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of media experience, preferably at an agency with a track record of successfully driving offline and online investment strategies and running a sizeable, multi-discipline activation team.
  • Demonstrated solid knowledge in buying techniques, audience, measurement, and modern technology such as clean rooms.
  • Authored strategic points of view and presentations for senior executive clients.
  • Proven experience in driving innovation, thought leadership with enterprise partnerships, improving efficiencies, and productivity, and bringing first-to-market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of 100+ people across different disciplines.
  • Strong people leader, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams, being strong in guiding teams through change and transformation, with an eye on talent development, capability building, and culture.
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities.
  • Exhibits executive presence, a progressive mindset to drive transformation.
  • Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong media advertising and marketing technology understanding.
  • Experience with CPG is a plus.
